ECONOMY
CIRCULAR
For our materials, we operate according to the principle of the Circular Economy, which means that we create by using existing materials. Our materials all have a story to tell...
Once this was established, it was obvious that we first had to find solutions for the material that is the starting point of any garment. This is the central stage, where the environmental impact of our products will mainly be played out. Our solution comes from the childhood of Maylis, its founder. The art of doing with what we have (upcycling) or transforming to reuse (recycling) and avoid wasting & continuing to damage our eco-system.
After an inventory, and many exchanges with the actors of the market, we saw there many opportunities and decided to select our materials according to two principles:
T H E M A T E RI A L S R E C O G N I Z E D => U P C Y C L I N G
We buy back materials that are already manufactured, or finished products that have already had a life...
stocks or vintage linens. Clearly we create with the existing, we do not restart
We do not produce new materials, which allows us not to draw on our natural resources. We have identified and
We have identified and established loyal partnerships with various actors: manufacturers of raw materials, workshops, brands, sorting centers or recycling centers. Our impact is zero.
R E C Y C L E D M A T E R S => R E C Y C L I N G
The circle is also virtuous.
Recycled materials allow us to transform marine waste, production scraps or recycled clothing with quality fibers that can be reused. We are notably partners of SEAQUAL which transforms marine plastic waste into raw material used for the manufacture of yarns. Plastic bottles that become a coat, it's possible! Our impact is also almost zero, we reuse the material to put it back into
the material to put it back into the circuit.
ZERO WASTE

We use 100% of our materials.
At each step we had to face a new problem. So, when we arrived at the stage of cutting the materials, there too, we had a lot to do.
Once the materials were cut, several bins filled up before our eyes. Production scraps, little pieces of material that were piling up right in front of us. And when we asked what these scraps were intended for, the answer was chilling: they are systematically deemed unusable and end up being destroyed. So naturally we decided to prevent them from ending up in the trash, a joint commitment with our manufacturing partner.
We recover all the scraps & give them a use.
We put our creativity to work to serve our convictions!
"We see infinite possibilities here too...

NO OVERPRODUCTION
Fast fashion has messed up our world. So, coming back to a reasonable production mode was an obvious choice for us. Throughout the year, we offer you limited edition pieces & sometimes even in quasi exclusivity! And when we have larger quantities, we offer you our creations in pre-orders (just quantities, not more). We only produce what you have fallen for!

TEXTILE REVALORIZATION

We are partners with clothing collectors and sorting centers. Concretely, throughout the year, we buy back and recycle materials to give them a second life. And through actions, we encourage recycling.
#Reduce #Repare
#Reuse #Recycle
In particular, we support the TLC recycling network, which gives the textile industry the means to implement recycling.

SHORT CIRCUITS
Our circuits are short... we have naturally chosen proximity, to reduce distances as much as possible and to favor local products. This decision seems obvious, natural or even simple in appearance, but in practice, it is a real headache ... especially when you are (like us), a very small company. We are not looking for short term proximity, on the contrary, our objective is to build a real circuit, perennial, which is part of a long term partnership & in a positive social framework.
So here we are, today we can talk about real partners. We weave links, and move forward together according to common values, always with flexibility. Most of them are French, if not European. On a daily basis, this proximity allows us to control our chain from end to end (supply - manufacturing - logistics), with transparency and in a spirit of benevolent construction, for a reasoned fashion. We can thus make positive choices (social & environmental) that minimize our impact (environmental) and take up many challenges!
"In 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans.
But this is not inevitable. The oceans cover two-thirds of the planet's surface. While they play a vital role in the survival of our ecosystem, the oceans are increasingly threatened, degraded and destroyed by human activities. If multiple factors contribute to their destruction, the multiplication of plastic waste in our waters is one of the most devastating.
So we decided to use no plastic in our packaging and the minimum in our entire supply chain.
